Creating a Review of Literature

A dissertation literature review is a collection of what has been written and issued on a topic your have selected for your document by scholars. The purpose of writing a dissertation literature review is to show your audience knowledge and concepts have been prescribed on a topic and their strong and weak points. A dissertation literature review must be specified by a key concept. Buy you should realize that this is not merely a list of the information available, but also a set of summaries.
In addition to enlarging your knowledge regarding your topic, creating a literature review of your dissertation lets you obtain and demonstrate writing skills in two areas:
1. critical evaluation: the skill to apply main points of analysis to define objective and valid studies;
2. information seeking: the skill to examine the literature successfully, using physical or computerized techniques, to determine a set of important articles and books.
Your literature review must be ordered around and connected to the research question or thesis you are developing. Also, it should synthesize outcome into an abridgment of what is known and unknown. A literature review of your dissertation should identify areas of discussion in the literature. Your review of literature should formulate some questions necessary for further research.
This paragraph is a component of discursive prose, but not a list that describes or sums up pieces of literature. It is often a bad way to see each paragraph starting with the researcher’s name. Instead, you can organize the review of literature into sections presenting themes or identifying trends, comprising relevant theory.
